Life as we know it

So Dick will be working in the extended season program with APX this September. We thought we might have a chance to go back to Virginia Beach, but it didn't work out that way so it looks like he'll be extending In the Little Rock/Memphis office. They will be anywhere between here and there. I haven't decided if I will be staying with him or going back to Utah until they finish up.

Not much else is going on. It's been slow, people are already staring to go home for school. But they say it will be picking back up for the last to weeks of the regular season.

We are doing well and enjoying the time we have to spend together. Hopefully everyone else is doing well also!

Injury

I have been helping Richard with installs since I haven't been working myself. This means that I am using a drill. I hadn't really used a drill before this summer. (So thank you to those customers that have allowed me to use their houses as my learning experience.)

Anyway in this job I tend to get cuts on my hands and arms, mostly from screwdrivers. Well this last time it was not a screwdriver.

(this is about 3 days after it happened) sorry about the blur

The drill got me. I was drilling through a door frames and just my luck the house had wood paneling. (really almost every house in Arkansas has wood paneling) So I continue to push with my had against the frame and of course I am pushing on the drill with the other hand. So after a couple minutes of this the bit flies through the frame(and paneling) and into my finger. So the bit being hot and sharp, I was burned and cut at the same time. It didn't hurt at first but as time went on it started to sting.

It has been about five days now and it seems to be healing quite well.

Mount Holly Cemetary

Dick and I share a Love for old/vintage, things. Something we have come to love is walking around cemeteries. We like to find old cemeteries. We came across one in Little Rock. We were in the 'area' early and decided to stop by and Check it out. It was beautiful and Peaceful.

Chillin on the bench.

This is the grave a 2 little girls. They have volunteers that keep up the cemetery and make things look great.

This is a very prominent cemetery. Every important person in Arkansas is buried here. They have an old bell house and a brochure.

This is a Fountain in the looking out at the cemetery entrance. There was a little bench near it also.

This is similar to the mos ileum that Dick and I would like to be buried in.

It was very pretty. This is looking down the aisle at our car.

Update

We are Back in 'home' in Little Rock. Back in our little ghetto apartment. It is great to be here and not living in hotels! When we pulled up on Monday I never thought I would be so happy to come back to this place. The summer has been good, We have moved a lot and will most likely continue moving for at least the next couple months.

We are finally able to pick up door-to-door sales again in Little Rock so as for now no more traveling hours at a time for a couple installs. I am looking forward to finishing out the summer and heading home to see family. I have been missing everyone a ton!

Hopefully We will be able to install through September. I'll keep everyone posted on things to come!
