10 months 6 days old

I wanted to make sure I remember some details about this day. It all started April 3rd when Silas took his first step alone. Since then he has been standing a lot more lately and his legs are getting stronger. At exactly 10 months old he would take up to about 3 steps. On Friday he took 7 steps all alone. Saturday his confidence just exploded and he now prefers walking to crawling. He kind of look like a cute little Frankenstein when he walks. I am a little emotional as I watch my baby grow. It is bittersweet for me. This is a new giant step in his life, it changes so many things for us all. Though I want him to stay small forever, It has been an amazing joy to watch him gain a little independence and confidence in himself. He is so happy and proud of himself for this milestone. I Love this boy!
