9 months old!

9 Months

Silas is an awesome boy! He seriously makes us so happy. We Love being his parents! At 9 months he is 20 lbs 2 oz (50 percentile) 29 1/2 inches ( 75 percentile) and the circumference of his head is in the 75th percentile but I don't remember the size. He has grown so fast. It is crazy to think that in only 3 short months he will be 1.

Well our little Silas keeps us busy. He is into everything! He also has a great memory and doesn't get distracted when I try to give him toys instead of him getting into the things he shouldn't. I move him and he immediately heads right back to where I don't want him to go. I have a feeling this is the beginning of a trend for us for a long time!

Silas still loves vegetables and is starting to eat everything we give him. He LOVES cottage cheese, Broccoli is still one of his favorites. He also enjoys rice, Grandma Kathleen's magic chicken noodle soup and breads of any kind.

Silas is still a climber. He climbs, in, out, onto and over anything that gets in his way. He is still walking around things like a pro and is starting to stand on his own for a few seconds at a time. He has a fun new toy that he is walking with, (walk and ride) he also pushes his high chair and walks with that.

He gives kisses and waves. He waves to the baby in the mirror pretty much anytime he sees him! He is still a little jabber box. Saying mama and dada and many other sounds.

He loves being in crowds and the attention of people. He is a smiley little guy and his cute little teeth make for a cute little smile. All eight of them are adorable!

Well I do have to say the last nine months with Silas has been a joy and I Love being his Mom. He is such a fun sweet little boy. I will always remember his tender side, the cuddles and kisses and I hope that he doesn't grow out of that quickly!
