10 Months

10 Month/Day 303

Silas is changing so quick lately. He is starting to mimic the words that Dick and I say. He jabbers while holding his books, as though he is reading them. He says Mama, Dada and hi. He also waves hello and goodbye. He is standing more often on his own now and has taken up to 3 steps by himself! He has also been clicking his tongue. His is becoming a lot more independent.  He loves playing with other kids, being outside, swimming, and his puppy! He will follow Thor all over the house, down the hallway, from the kitchen to the living and back. He has been throwing everything. He throws his toys and then chases them. This can keep him pretty entertained for awhile. He also dances. He has been dancing for awhile now He LOVES music. He still loves broccoli, beets, cottage cheese and meat. He is such a fun and sweet little boy.

We were recently in St. George and went swimming. Silas Loved it! He was very independent the minute we got in the water. He was splashing and jabbering. there was a little step in the pool he crawled back and forth on. He stood and took a step and kept trying to walk. He went into the deep pool for a little bit and I went under the water while holding him up and after a couple of times he leaned in to give me a kiss. I kept going under and popping back up and he started laughing. Then we walked around the pool "bobbing"up and down he put his head on my shoulder and fell asleep. I think this was the perfect first trip to the pool, for this summer!
