Brand New

This was our first concert of the year! I LOVE concerts, It almost doesn't even matter who is playing as long as the preform well and I can get to the front!

Dusty Rhodes and the River Band

This band was full of energy and the lead (Dusty)was sipping a beer instead of the usual water. What I enjoyed most about: They used many different instruments and had a lot of fun on stage.

Manchester Orchestra

I had heard many great things about this band, I am sad to say I was greatly disappointed with their stage performance. They seemed somewhat distant. I did enjoy their music. Chris "lightning" Freeman, on the keyboard was my favorite of there set.

And Headlining....
Brand New!!!

This band also headlined the first concert Dick and I ever went to, together. Their music has played a large part in our relationship. We LOVE Brand NEW! Even though we were probably the oldest people at that concert, we had a great time, right up in front. Their play list was great and they did great job. They played songs from their New album and didn't forget to include crowd favorites from past albums! Even though I am getting older and most of the people around us were still in high school. I enjoy going to a band that I have enjoyed since they started! (back when I was still in high school) Also they were scheduled to play back in October and had to rescheduled due to swine flu, If they had played then we wouldn't have been able to see them, So not that I am glad they got swine flu, but I am glad that we could go!

This was a great concert to start the year off and hopefully their will be many more to come. Next up on the agenda... Tegan and Sara coming up in April!
