So about a week ago on the 6th of December my mom had everyone over to decorate gingerbread houses! It was fun to see the kids and their cute little ideas. My mom even got the houses that come already set up so you don't have to worry about assembly! It made it a lot easier for the kids to just dig in and get to work.
Wylie and Erin worked very hard and had a lot of candy all over their houses. Ali was very creative, though she eventually lost interest. Brody wanted to eat all of the candy, but only ended up with a few pieces in his mouth. Dick and I worked very hard and we were the last to finish our houses! (There were extra house so we took the opportunity to decorate our own. 
They all turned out great! And will probably be a yearly tradition!

The back of my house if you look close you can see the fire pit in the back yard....I didn't have gingerbread men to put around it, but I will next year!

Fun stuff! I love your houses. I have made it a tradition at our house now, thanks to you and your family letting me come decorate houses at your house!
Remember that one year when we made swimming pools outside our houses and put gingerbread men in them? I have pictures of that I should find them and post them.
And yes we need to play soon, I miss your guts. Our basement is done now so you guys could come play rockband.
