December Hustle and Bustle

We have done a lot of fun things in the past couple of weeks. My Mom, Megan and I went to the festival of trees, shopping and to lunch. This is a yearly tradition that we have. It is fun to see the trees and helps get me in the mood for Christmas. My favorite things were the Grinch stealing Christmas, the Coca~Cola display! and the sign that is posted below! I love that so many people donate to such a great cause. Also Ali and Brody got to ride in the car at party land. They loved that store.


Megan and I made candy over the weekend! We tried new things and made things we had made before. The list consists of Sugar cookies, Truffles, Caramels, Toffee, Divinity, Fudge, and Chocolate covered Pretzels. Brody and Lee also helped. It was fun and hopefully next time we will remember to start earlier!

While we made candy Dick and Lee played some Wii games. Brody got in on the action also. They had some fun competition with bomberman, Wii fit skiing, guitar hero and more. We had a lot of fun as we were there all weekend!


Shawn has been driving the horses for the wagon ride at Thanksgiving Point. So we all decided to go on the ride. It was a freezing cold night so we packed up our hot cocoa and our winters clothes for the ride. Ali, Brody, and Wylie all got a turn steering the horses and loved sitting next to uncle Shawn! It was a fun experience and they had some cute things. My favorite was the igloo and the penguin jumping off of it into a pile of snow.
