The Beach

So Dicka and I try to go to the beach at least once a week. I mean we live only 20 minutes away so why not make it a weekly adventure! I love it there it is very peaceful and deffinately different than places to go in Utah.

It is Very pretty here in Virginia also. I love how how green it is. This was taken on the way to the beach....pretty close to the mall.

I took this as I was walking through the water! It was a little chilly but it was fun. I love walking along the coast! and playing in the water!

Dick was playing with the showers that they have along the walk ways. He was trying to get me wet... but I'm pretty quick! oh and I had his camera in my hand, so that helped too.

This a statue that is on the beach! I like to say that this is King Tritan... Though in reality he is Poseidon or Neptune. This statue is Huge! If you look you will notice that Dick is standing by it and it towers over him...I guess that would be expected considering he Is the GOD of the Sea!

I am sure as weeks go by that I will be updating beach pictures I plan on taking a ton! sorry if that gets boring!

Visiting Oklahoma and Kentucky!

So as we traveled across the state of our country we stopped along the way to visit some friends and family. We stayed in Yukon, Oklahoma with my friends, Tabitha and Thessaly Minshull for a couple of days. We played Dick's wii and went out to dinner and hun out for hours! It was so much fun to see them again. We had a lot of fun!
We also stopped in Kentucky to see Tony, Kerry, Abiagil and Banyan. We had a great time. When we got there Kerry had made us a delicious dinner so we ate when we got there! It was awesome... then Banyan became Dick's cute little shadow calling him king

Richard the entire time. It was very adorable. Abby was very sweet and let me stay in her bed! We loved seeing them... Even though Tony wasn't there.

Finally! Pictures! I decided to back track and post the pictures from before we left. Right before Dicka and I came out to Virginia we were able to visit with his sister and brother in law. They were visiting Delta. This was the first oppertunity I had to meet them. Monica and Rustin, and there 5 awesome kids! We did all kinds of things!

We Played with Luke! He is such a sweet baby. and the kids loved playing wii! We played outside on the swingset and with the wagon. Jackson had fun taking the plastic easter eggs in and out of the jar!

They rollerbladed and played basketball. and like always we were able to fit in some games around the table after the kids went to bed! We also went bowling, i'm not so good. but We had a blast!

Today...

So today has been a slow day!  I am kind of at the point where I am done with this job... (just had my feel of it for the week)  I do like it but I know that sometimes I just don't want to go in... and today I didn't want to stay.  

But anyway enough complaining.   Things really are good!  I have loved being in Virginia and exploring new things.  We get to go to Busch Gardens this weekend and that will be fun.  We have also been able to make a lot of new friends, and since they work for the same company they have the same hours and live close.  That is nice.  I have also discovered that there are many fun places around.  There is a huge park about 5 minutes away!  I love parks!  There is a section in the park that is like the Discovery park in Pleasant Grove.  I was way excited to see... Something to remind me of home and all the things I'm missing out on.  

Mother's Day. Bennie's Birthday. Erin's Preschool graduation. Ali's 3rd birthday. My Mom Moving into a new place! ...and many other things I can't be there for!  I really do miss all of you even though I do Love it here also!
