Update
Dick's car will not be totaled! There was not enough damage. This means there will be a lot less for us to do. We just wait for the mechanic to call and let us know he is done fixing it! Dick is very excited to get his car back.

Sad Sad Day! :'(
As Dick and I were just arriving in Akron, Ohio and on our way to help out a friend on a job. We were stopped at a stop light when SLAM! The truck behind us smashed our back end and pushed us into the car in front of us.
(Poor little car)
(Broken Ball Joints)
This was not a good day. Also we had just filled the tank before we left that day. I know it seems weird to say this, but I am kind of glad that we ended up involving the car in front of us.
(Damage to the Truck that hit us)
Her husband, Stan, arrived on the scene and he made everything after that run smoothly. Dick and I were clueless about what needed to be done after that point. Our poor little car was not drivable.
Stan called a tow truck, mechanic (Chuck), and Chuck called Hertz to get us a car. By the time we arrived at the shop Hertz was on there way to pick us up. Everyone was really nice and took care of us. All of the people we came across that day were very sympathetic and apologetic.
(Damage to the car we hit)
Neither of us were injured. Dick is as good as usual. I am a little sore on my right side from the neck to my hip from the impact. but we are grateful that everyone involved was able to walk away virtually unharmed.
We are driving a Mazda 3, Dick thinks it is pretty feminine but it was bigger than the other options. The color is a little weird.
(Rental)
After we got the rental and transferred all our belongings Dick was even able to get an install.

From Ohio through Pennsylvania to New York and Back
Chad and Carolyn (Dick's parents) come to visit. We had a lot of fun and saw many different things.
Monday we drove up to Lake Erie and found some light houses, the beach, a park, and some birds. The lake is pretty big. Also with it being memorial day there were a lot of people around.
Tuesday we woke up early and drove to Palmyra, NY. It is about 5 hours from where we live. We stopped and visited Hill Cumorah first. Then we toured the farm where Joseph Smith grew up, and walked through the Sacred Grove. We drove past the printing shop where the Book of Mormon was first published and then drove to the Whitmer farm. We also saw the Palmyra temple.
Wednesday Stared early again and went to Niagara Falls. It was beautiful. Water everywhere rainbows and even though there were a lot of people it was quite peaceful. Since Dick and I don't have our passports, we didn't go to check out the Canadian view. Chad and Carolyn did go to Canada and said the falls where beautiful and the view is a little different. They took pictures so we could see the difference. We know now that it is a good idea to always have a passport, just in case.
Thursday we drove to Kirtland, which is about an hour away. Here we visited the LDS visitor's center and then went on a tour of the Kirtland temple, this temple belongs to the Community of Christ church. it was an interesting experience for us. We didn't hear or see everything we had to get Dick back for work. It was still something that we will always remember and we will hopefully be able to go back again.
Friday Chad and Carolyn and I went to the Cuyahoga National Park. We saw the Brandy Wine Falls and beautiful trees and scenery everywhere. We also saw a covered bridge and stopped at a little store and had some delicious ice cream.
It was great to see the history in all these places and to see things that I grew up hearing about. These are experiences that I will never forget.
As for news, We are most likely going to be living in hotels come mid July. Starting in Toledo, Ohio. We aren't exactly sure when or for how long but I will try to keep everyone updated. We are doing well and enjoying the area. I am not going to be working considering the upcoming moves. I will most likely hang out by the pool, head out and work with Dick, or stay home clean and play video games.

Ohio Update
Things are going well here. Our sales team here has been doing a great job, which means Dick has been kept pretty busy. He is spending his down time at parks near Lake Erie, I went on installs with him this last week, but forgot the camera. At some parks you can see the Canadian Border Marked on the lake. We are close to Kirtland and hope to visit some church sites while we are here.
The ward is very different than the Saratoga Springs, Utah ward we came from. The first Sunday I counted 17 women in Relief Society total and they don't overflow into the chapel during Sacrament meeting. In our old ward it was more than full during all meetings. The ward here is glad to have a few more faces.
Our apartment is spacious. and with a few pictures and posters we have made it our temporary home. I am still looking for a job, but hopefully something will work out, before to long.
We miss everyone and all the summer fun that will be going on back home, but we do plan on making this a great summer! Here are a few pictures that I have taken so far.
