A day with Erin

(She told me exactly how to pose, this is apparently how models do it)

Erin is growing up so much. Being the first born of my nieces/nephew I can't believe that she is approaching seven! She is in Kindergarten and is six going on twenty. It is hard to move away from them. Though I do love to travel and change is always an adventure, They grow up so fast and it seems to go faster when you aren't there to enjoy it.

I love spending time with each one of them, altogether and individually. I Love being an aunt. It is my favorite!

So Erin comes to my mom's sometime and living there currently I have had the opportunity to see her a little more often. One Sunday she was over and found Grandma's curlers. She decided to put them in my hair and make me beautiful.

It was pretty fun. I was also able to talk her into letting me use the leftover ones on her! Times like these are what you will never forget!

YOUR nieces grow up fast?!? MY nieces are married and have families of their own (a lot of them anyway). I remember when you were a shy three-going-on-thirty-year old squeaker.
Enjoy them while you can.
When do you leave? If you are still around at Easter, we'd love to see you.

You think that they grow up fast when your away. Just wait until they're yours and your with them all the time. That's when the time warp starts speeding up. My Erin is 7 and it still seems like John and I just got married! (it was 10 years ago) Time flies when you have kids.
